  6. Microphone II is an advanced telecommunications package used to retrieve
  7. information from a variety of online services, participate in office-to-office
  8. business reporting and exchange data with other computers. Version 4.0 is
  9. System 7 savvy and supports Apple Events, Publish and Subscribe and Balloon
  10. Help. The program has also added support for the Connection manager of the
  11. Communications Toolbox. Microphone II includes a powerful script editor and
  12. supports HyperCard 2.0 XCMDs and XFCNs. The program supports Xmodem, Ymodem,
  13. Ymodem-G, Zmodem, Kermit and CompuServe Quick-B file transfer protocols and
  14. supplies terminal emulation for TTY, VT52, VT100, VT102, VT220, VT320 and IBM
  15. PC-ANSI. Microphone II includes both a Mini BBS script that turns a Macintosh
  16. into a host computer and a new showcase script called Loran that provides a
  17. very graphical front end to mail for CompuServe and SVC's own BBS.
